Find your dream job with Relief-to-Hire™

Roo is in your corner to support your full career journey, whatever form that takes, from relief to part or full-time at a hospital you adore. How do you know you’ll love a clinic before you sign on? Work a relief shift there of course!

Not only is this a great way to explore different hospitals, it’s the only way to see what a hospital really looks like on the good days and the hectic ones. Here’s how to get started:

1. Set your profile’s job search status

Hop over to your profile or click right here and answer the question: “Beyond relief, are you interested in full or part-time jobs?”

If you select “Actively Job Searching” a Job Searching label will be added to your profile for hiring hospitals to see.

If you’re not actively looking but open to a good fit, select “Open to Job Opportunities,” instead so hospitals know where you stand.

2. Test the fit during relief shifts

Complete relief shifts at hiring hospitals to discover clinics that are a great culture fit. You’ll get the real experience of working together, be part of the team, and connect with actual clients!

3. Let Roo know you’re interested

Did you find your match made in practice? Amazing, we’re here to help with the transition. Simply follow the prompts when you rate your shift to let us know you’re interested in a part or full-time position at that hospital. You can also express interest on the hospital profile, within their Hiring section on the About tab.

We’ll reach out to the hospital to confirm their interest and connect you if it’s a Roo Match! You’ll interview and negotiate directly with the hospital.

Land your dream job and celebrate!

When it’s a done deal, let Roo know so we can manage any outstanding confirmed shifts.

If you have upcoming shifts scheduled with that hiring hospital, we’ll cancel any shifts after your expected start date. If you have upcoming confirmed shifts with other hospitals, we handle those on a case-by-case basis to support everyone involved.

Hop hop hooray! You did it. We hope you’re happy in your brand new hospital home!
