How to set up Saved Search Alerts (Technicians)

Saved Search Alerts

Never miss out on a shift you want again with Saved Search Alerts! Now, you can save your preferred search filters to receive daily notifications when new shifts are posted that match your exact criteria, so you never miss a relevant shift again.

How to set up a Saved Search

Step 1: Set your shift search filters

  1. In the “Map area” search bar, enter your address, city, or zip code where you’re interested in searching for shifts. Enter dates to see available shifts for those days.
    1. Specific date ranges won’t be saved as filters for your Saved Search Alert.
  2. Click the “Filter” button to open the Filters window. Select the filters that match exactly what you're looking for such as, Tech tier, surgery preferences, days of the week, minimum pay, and more.
  3. Click “Show Shifts” to see available shifts that match your filters.

Pro tip: The more specific your filters are, the more relevant your search and notifications will be!

Step 2: Save your search

  1. Click the “Save Search” button at the top of your search results.
  2. Enter a name to label your Saved Search based on your filters.
    1. Examples: San Fransisco Tier 2 or Weekend Surgery Shifts
    2. This name will appear on your Saved Search notifications so you know exactly which shifts you’re receiving alerts for. This will help you differentiate among your other Saved Searches.
  3. Select if you’d like to receive your Saved Search notification by email, push, SMS, or all.
    1. Saved Search Alert notification settings apply to all saved searches and can be changed at anytime in your notification settings.
  4. Tap “Save” to save your Saved Search!

Pro tip: Save as many searches as you want to receive refined alerts that fit your different needs!

Viewing and editing your Saved Searches

Viewing your Saved Searches

Receiving your Saved Search Alerts

You’ll receive daily notifications for your saved searches when new shifts are posted that match your saved filters. You can choose to receive these notifications by email or push.

Updating your notification settings

To update how you receive your Saved Search Alerts, first head to your profile Settings.

  1. Click the Notifications tab
  2. Here you can toggle email, mobile push, and SMS alerts for your Saved Search Alerts, along with alerts for your Favorite hospitals or last-minute shifts.

Note: Email, push, and SMS notification settings for Saved Search Alerts will apply to all of your saved searches.

Important things to know

  • Saved Search Alerts are replacing “New shift alerts” and the weekly shift digest, and you’ll no longer see settings for these notifications in your profile. If you had “New shift alerts” on, those filters will be applied to your Shifts Near Home saved search.
  • You’ll receive your Saved Search Alerts once per day if new shifts are posted that match your criteria. Shifts posted after the digest is sent will appear in the following day's alert, so acting quickly when you receive a notification helps you see new shifts as early as possible!
  • If you have “Favorited hospital” alerts turned on and a shift matches both a saved search and a hospital you've favorited, you’ll only receive that shift as a Favorited hospital notification.
