Taxes are not taken out of your pay, so the full amount will hop straight into your bank account in a few business days after you work and rate a shift. That said, you will be responsible for paying taxes later, so we recommend setting some money aside to take care of future you.
🧮 How does Roo determine shift pricing?
We use a dynamic pricing model to determine the compensation for each Roo shift. That basically means we've got people and computers over here doing a lot of math to account for things like location, demand/urgency, type of work performed, and other factors to come up with the pay for the shifts you see.
