CA - How payments work on Roo: Updating Bank Info or Card on File

The name of the game at Roo is making your life easier. We keep payments simple and secure so you can focus on what matters: running your hospital. You'll never have to worry about missing a payment again since we take care of all that automatically.

When do I get charged?

With Roo, you can freely post as many shifts as you want with zero upfront costs! If you don't find coverage, you don't pay.

You can update your payment method at any time, and you won't be charged until 24 hours after a shift is completed. You can also cancel any shift more than 8 weeks in advance without being charged anything.

How do I set up my payment method?

You can pay for Roo shifts using a linked bank account, credit card, or debit card. Roo processes payments through the Stripe portal, offering two payment options: credit card or electronic funds transfer (EFT).

When you first set-up your Roo account, you'll be prompted to add a payment method. Missed the boat? Don't worry, we got you:

  • 📍 In the top bar, click on your Account Name and select Admin from the drop-down menu followed by Billing on the left column. Alternatively, you can select the Billing tab and then the gear icon in the upper right of the screen.

🦓 We use Stripe, a secure service that lets you log in to your bank directly. If your bank isn't supported, no worries, you can manually enter your banking info.
