Roo has partnered with Wingspan to make managing your 1099 tax forms even smoother.
Look out for an email from Wingspan at no-reply@t.wingspan to create your account. You’ll be asked to confirm your tax information and choose how you’d like to receive your 1099. Complete the full process to avoid any delays with your 1099. If you do not set up this profile, an electronic copy of your 1099 will not be available.
Then, around mid January, Roo + Wingspan will make it rain 1099-NEC forms. You’ll receive an email to let you know it’s on the way and give you an opportunity to update any contact info.
You should expect to receive your 1099 form from Wingspan before the IRS deadline of January 31st so you’ll have everything you need to file on time (in one convenient document).
