Make sure you’re subscribed to our email, push notifications, and SMS alerts. That’s how you’ll hear about these promotions and get instructions for how to claim your reward. Every Promotion is a bit different so you’ll just have to wait and see what’s in store for you.
Who gets promotions, and where are my promotions?
This is a question we hear a lot for obvious reasons. Here’s the answer: Roo Promotions are dynamic, which means they’re completely customized to YOU. This means everyone gets different promotions at different times. Crazy right?
Our best advice: just be patient and promotions will come to you. We’re always looking for new and exciting ways to reward our incredible community and keep tails wagging!
How do I claim a promo?
THIS IS HUGE: To cash in on a Roo Promo, first you’ll need to claim the promotion in your Roo dashboard before you pick up any shifts.
1️⃣ Claim the promo on Roo BEFORE requesting any shifts. (shifts requested before claiming won’t count!)
2️⃣ Once claimed, a promotion tracker will appear at the top of your Roo dashboard. That’s your sign that you’re good to go! Don’t see it? You might not be getting credit so let us know ASAP — we can help!
How do I complete your promo?
Specific instructions will vary based on the Promo, so please refer to the fine print and all marketing communications you get for specific details.
Typically, the process looks something like this:
✅ Request shifts before the promo Request Deadline (Pro Tip: Send a few extra requests just to be safe!)
✅ Get confirmed by the hospital (you got this!)
✅ Complete those shifts and help pets, typically prior to a secondary deadline.
The progress bar at the top of your dashboard will track your shifts, so you always know where you stand. Got multiple promos running? No worries — trackers will let you keeps tabs on all of them!
💰 Once you hit your goal, it’s payout time! Your rewards will automatically be direct deposited into your linked bank account just like your shift payments.
