The name of the game at Roo is making your life easier. We keep payments simple and secure so you can focus on what matters — running your hospital. You’ll never have to worry about missing a payment again since we take care of all that automatically.
When do I get charged?
With Roo, you can freely post as many shifts as you want with zero upfront costs! If you don’t find coverage, you don’t pay — simple as that.
Your bank account or credit card won’t be charged until 72 hours before a confirmed shift. You can also cancel any shift more than 8 weeks in advance without being charged anything.
How do I set up my payment method?
You can pay for Roo shifts using a linked bank account, credit card, or debit card.
When you first set-up your Roo account, you’ll be prompted to add a payment method. Missed the boat? Don’t worry, we got you:
- 📍 In the top bar, click on your Account Name and select Settings from the drop-down menu
- 👇 Click on “Hospital Account” and select the “Payment Information” tab.
- 🏦 Choose your adventure! Click “Add Card” to pay via credit or debit card, or choose “Add account via Stripe” to securely link your bank account.
🦓 We use Stripe, a secure service that lets you log in to your bank directly. If your bank isn’t supported, no worries — you can manually enter your banking info.
