How does billing work?

The name of the game at Roo is making your life easier. We keep payments simple and secure so you can focus on what matters — running your hospital. You’ll never have to worry about missing a payment again since we take care of all that automatically.

When do I get charged?

With Roo, you can freely post as many shifts as you want with zero upfront costs! If you don’t find coverage, you don’t pay — simple as that.

Your bank account or credit card won’t be charged until 72 hours before a confirmed shift. You can also cancel any shift more than 8 weeks in advance without being charged anything.

Flexible payment options that fit your Hospital’s needs

Choose your own adventure: We make paying for shifts simple and flexible with three options:

💳 Credit Card (Preferred) – Fast, easy, and secure.

🏦 Bank Account/ACH Withdrawal – Seamless payments directly from your bank handled by Stripe, a secure payment service. If your bank isn’t supported, no worries — you can manually enter your banking info.

📝 Manual Invoicing – Pay within 30 days of your shift. Your invoices are always available as PDF downloads under the Billing tab in your hospital account for easy bookkeeping.

Need to update your payment method?

No problem — you can adjust this at anytime:

  • 📍 In the top bar, click on your Account Name and select Settings from the drop-down menu
  • 👇 Click on “Hospital Account” and select the “Payment Information” tab.

Here you’ll find your current payment methods — change away!
