How to review and approve Vet and Tech proposals

New rate and time proposals

Your shifts may allow Vets and Techs to propose different rates and/or start and end times with their shift request.

As a general Roominder, it’s helpful to treat proposed adjustments as a signal that your shifts are fair to both you and the Vet or Tech.

When a shift is requested with a proposal, you will see the proposed changes on the Shift Request card with an icon that indicates there are “Proposed Adjustments.” This option is available to both Vets and Techs.

Review the Shift Request as you usually would, but pay close attention to the adjusted price and/or time changes. You will see the original price and time listed under the proposal but with a strikethrough.
If you accept the proposed changes, click “Confirm,” if you do not accept the changes click “Decline.”

Yes, to turn rate and time proposals on and off go to your Account menu → Hospital Account → Settings → Shift Details. On this page, you can individually toggle whether you want to allow rate and time proposals by Vets and Techs.
